The MSA were very supportive and still are of a class which I thought was largely unnecessary.
However, until the existing Jr classes sorted out the issue of excess unit weight, an intermediate class was necessary. Once that was done, super cadet was pretty much superfluous.
I have only seen a couple at a club event, having missed the nearest S1 round last year due to holidays, but the motors look ok and the chassis is about right for an intermediate class. The one thing we didn't want was small kids on a full size CIK chassis.
It probably has its place, but I don't support the assertion that it should be the British Championship class - never have.
