What sort of revs are you getting?
We had a problem when we went to junior of not being able to get up to 13,000. We worked on the carb and put stronger springs on the exhaust, (it was lifting off the flange slightly at high revs so back pressure was lost but we only spotted it by accident). Now we get 14,000 and over and there is definitely a second power band around the 13 mark.
