After watching some historic karting and speaking to a few old faces at Larkhall yesterday I'm looking at a return to karting.

I'm going to phone the MSA in the morning but until then I'm after some advice.

I last held a licence in 2009, which was a Kart National B "novice" as I never got round to upgrading before I stopped racing.

Will I have to do the ARKS and have another medical or can I just renew? I'm 31 if this makes a difference.

The MSA site says online renewal is only for 2010 licence holders.
