For the helmet lightly dab all mud and moveable stuff of with some water on a cloth, then use wax. Get the stuff from "the helmet company", its fantastic. You should also get some of the cloths they sell, this stuff will not only make it shiny but will take off any rubber or anything on the helmet.

Then for the visor, i have the same problem with the expensive iridium thing! Buy some "helmet and visor" cleaner i think its called, from the helmet company. (It should come in a spray bottle) Then dont bother using it on the actual helmet, just spray a couple of sprays on the visor and wipe it off in smooth motions ( dont go in circles, just in straight smooth sweeps . The visor will look all smudged but when it has dried properly it will look good as new! It also dosent take of the iridium coating.
