So my lad had a warning flag at the weekend and a talking to from the clerk, not for the first time I still don't agree he was in the wrong. What do you think?
He'd been scrapping for the lead in a group of 4 and into a fast left, he went up the inside of the leader and was 3/4 the way past by the corner apex and took his line to the exit, thinking he was cleanly through. But the lad he was passing had still refused to give and his front wheels made contact with my lads back bumper at or around the exit of the corner, spinning my lad out in front of him off the track and losing enough ground himself to only come in 3rd. My lad recovered eventually into about P10 and eventually came in 6th. Now fair enough, racing incident, but then in Parc ferme I find he got a warning flag and we're up to the clerk, who says he should have left a karts width at the corner exit just in case. Any thoughts?
