Timed Quali is fine, if you race Super 1. The way it is run at club level is the best way of encouraging young drivers to learn to overtake, not just load the guy in front up and turf him off!
As Graham said, max grid size is 28, they had 26. If Kimbolton had 32 drivers with a maximum of 34, would you still argue they should've split it?! Max grid sizes are set for a reason!
What about the carnage at Whilton the other day, nobody was referring to the lack of runoff there, what's their excuse?!
Rye is possibly the only club that rotates its running order so everyone has a go first and last! Why slate it because it wasn't your turn this month?!
I love Rye! Favourite short circuit in terms of friendliness and a good little circuit. Don't let one meeting be the reason you all kick off!
