The other big problem with mixed tyre grids is safety, unfortunately the tyres do not behave the same when cold, with the SL6 being far superior. The biggest problem at the start was mojo drivers sliding into vega drivers. Lets hope Mr Chapman allows a couple of proper warm up laps as Kimbolton did. However at least Kimbolton proved one thing Milan, purple is the new green !
