My proposal is for the future too.

It isn't for the MSA (this is an MSA Green Paper) to legislate any commercial association into an official position, nor to try to dictate how kart clubs / tracks run their business. MSA karting occupies a tiny fraction of the karting spectrum, arguably less than 3% (one day in 30).

Even within our normal karting activities, we spend most of our time in non MSA activities. Almost all practice is non MSA (save for 3 laps on race day) and in many cases isn't even a club activity, not even on race Saturday.

s for planetkarting, I have no idea why Ron Shone should be given special status, but if you insist... If you are referring to the NKRA, there is absolutely no way that they should be directing clubs how to conduct their business any more than any other race series organiser should.

As you say, karters should run karting and the club members should be indicating to their clubs whether they want changes to be made in the way their club is run, not the ABkC telling clubs to tell their members what they should want.
