I fully agree, there are many very good women karters, in fact, it is one of the only sports that women can compete in on a level playing field.

Other sports such as Football, Cricket, Golf rely on strength and here, yes, women do require seperate competition.

The only two sports that I can think of really where women would compete on level terms are karting and probably horse racing (although there are still surprisingly few female jockeys) and certainly equestrian type events.

Even watching the BDO darts recently and seeing the womens championship, it was very clear that the standard was very much lower than the mens championship.

Strange though.....why in motorsport, only really karting?

Ok, I suppose some women do compete in BTCC events, but never in F1???
