I have not suggested anyone is talking rubbish and that nothing you do makes any difference. There are several parameters here which had not occured to me which had I not posted on this forum I may not have even considered, so for me personally I have learnt something. I totally agree that sometimes you do the opposite of what you think and you gain from it. For me if you can understand what is happening and why then you have a better chance of getting it right. My son is for the second year competing in Junior TKM. He will be the only kart on the grid with a 30mm axle. He has tested several 50mm axle karts and still prefers his Tonykart Viper. During the high grip months of June July August we will need to run our Kart wider than it's designed width to give stability. There is no point of testing this now as it is too cold, there is not 2.5 days worth of maxxis rubber down now like there is when you come to final 2 on super 1 sunday. We have beaten top teams running cik karts frequently, by using a logical approach. When something works we always try and understand why it works and when it doesn't work likewise. I am very lucky to have a pilot who can put 8 laps within 1.5 tenths and shares the same interest and passion as me. Happy new year everyone !!! Thanks for all your postings
