Nearly all of my O/D karting has been non-MSA. Brilliant atmosphere, mainly well run, and the paddock is the best place in the World for teams helping each other out with spare parts, advice and sheer brute force sometimes, just to keep another competitor on the track. We rely on each other turning up each week so that we can enjoy our racing, so there's no point in ignoring new, inexperienced teams as they'll just get fed up and go away.
The EPEC is a great example - we're all there to do well, BUT we are all there to have fun, and part of that is the paddock atmosphere and helping everyone out. Bob & Tracy Pope, Kelvin Nichols, Paul Beattie and the crew do a fantastic professional job, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
