let me tell you that nobody can tell you why each is different, but as a setup point of view normally mags are softer so they behave like a soft axle to stop bogging in corners in high grip levels, half mags behave like a medium axle you can make them work on most conditions, and ali wheels in low grip conditions hence why you use them in the wet ;-).
