I know it doesn't help you finding a new battery for your KKC driver but you might want to think about buying a "Performance Power Cordless Impact Driver 14.4V PID144B" from B&Q for Ł49.88.

I've been using a Hitachi (14.4v) impact driver for the last 3 or 4 years and the batteries on that are getting a bit tired. I bought the above driver about 3 - 4 months ago and have given it loads of use since and I have to say it is an excellent piece of kit - I'd even go as far as saying it's as good if not better than the Hitachi.

I now use it for the wheel nuts on both our karts and keep the Hitachi for M6 nuts such as sprocket nuts, floortray nuts etc.

(ps the B&Q driver has 2 batteries and they last a very long time between charging.)
