Yes, absolutely great. Indeed, you’ll have to do a round. And yes, these karts work beautifully around Lydd.
The thing is we’re spoilt now: we’ll want more international meetings. And our visitors said they’d definitely be very happy to come back to Lydd; so it’s a date, then.
Of course, Lydd being where it is, we lose some of our regulars from the northern parts of this country – in many cases it’s easier to reach from, say, Belgium.
Some of the UK drivers are certainly also planning to do continental rounds. Spa, the “Aixro home track”, has to be top of the list.
So this may not be international as the MSA/CIK understands it, but it sure looks and feels like it to us. The apparent fact that there are powers at work in these organisations firmly set against Aixro karts (presumably mostly because they make KF karts look silly – not the drivers, I hasten to add) is not one we can or are terribly desperate to do anything about.
