If hasn`t been done in the past year then fit a new seal kit for the master cyl and caliper, bleed thro with fresh silicon fluid, it will be a completely different brake afterwards.
Never let the pistons come too far out from the caliper, use the wright shims to achieve this.
Also look at the pads as they tend to wear from the `top` side first as they pull down under braking. so make sure the pad has equal thickness down its length.
