Just got back from helping out fixing hire kart clutches at 'Circuit de Muret' near Toulouse. They have been unable to find a mechanic for their hire karts and desperately need somebody for the summer. I mentioned that somebody from the UK might be interested as a summer job.

If you speak some French, know one end of a kart and a Honda engine from another and have nothing planned for the summer, you might well be in luck. The guys working there last year were living in a caravan, if I were 20 years younger I'd do it myself.

The complex puts any track I have seen in UK to shame and when we spent 3 days training there last year, the late night rental karting throughout the summer looked like one long manic petrol head party.
