If the COCs at National classes have their hands tied by what they can and cannot give out by the MSA then at some stage the promoters will have to look seriously about whether they run under MSA guidance? Tidying out yesterday and found a karting magazine from 2004 where the ABkC voted No confidence in the MSA, it is not inconceivable that for commercial opearators to follow such a dramtic route.

As Graham says it is geared toward the other motorsport formulae and not toward karting, I have seen three letters lately to COCs informing them that they need to be giving more penalties and in a slightly threatening tone, so perhaps we will start to see more CoCs walk away, at that stage karting really needs to look within!
