Essentially the ARKS test should be about making sure that the commonsense behind most of the rules are understood by the driver, that they are not going to be a danger to other people on the track.
So the logical questions are variations on the theme of common sense. (Yes, the questions will be phrased differently but this is what they mean)
Question: Can I wear a boiler suit to drive it.
Answer: No,it has to be a real protective race suit, and you can tell a real suit by the labels.
Question: If everyone is slowing down, can I just barrel on through?
Answer: No, they are probably slowing down for a reason. The flag will tell you what the reason is. So you need to know what the flags mean
Question: Can I just bump people off the track? Answer: No. You cannot do it from behind and you cannot do it from in front (ie: deliberately blocking) and you cannot run them off the road to either side, not even in a corner.
Question: Can I stop someone overtaking? Answer: No. You can drive fast enough so the person behind cannot overtake you even though he might be faster than you, but you cannot stop him overtaking. (The new wording is still clumsy and implies you have to wave through any driver who has caught you up)
Question: Can I use the kerbs? Answer: NO. You have to stay on the track and the kerbs aren't the track. If you leave the track completely, they HAVE to consider whether you were driving safely or gained an advantage If you regularly stick wheels outside the white lines, they CAN consider whether you are gaining an advantage or driving safely.
