when my lad did it a couple of years ago we had some on drivivng techniques and various items of safety e.g labels on suits and requirements for gloves. my lad was 7 3/4 when he did his and he just watched the dvd over and over again. i'm not sure if it will be the same with you but we were allowed the sit with our kids and help them with the reading of the questions. i thought i would need to help him with the answers but he seemed to know more about it than i did. just watch the dvd.
