The European Easykart Cadet is not restricted like the UK version. Unlikely that UK Easykart cadets will ever make progress in the world championship until this changes.

As part of the failed process to get Easykart into France, my lad tested the Full Power version. Strangely enough that was still two seconds slower than his other kart here. Where 8 year olds now go straight into 13CV 85cc Iames (big brother of the Easykart cadet). On a 60 second lap they are 8 seconds faster than a Honda cadet. We don't even have novice licences :-)

Mind you if you think F1 is boring to watch, you should watch the racing here. You see more racing moves in a UK club heat than a whole weekend of racing here.
