Hi. Ive just fitted a CHT to the underside of my spark plug.
mistake i made was not to tighten enough, and black fluid started to leak out when ticking over.
tightened all up, and is fine so far. havent raced at full rpm yet.
question is will it affect compression ratio alot if say the thermocouple is slightly stopping the spark plug from fully tightening as it would with its original washer. I can see that the plug probably wont seat as fully like it did without the thermocouple.

Also, why is the fluid that leaked out black> i do get a lot of blue/ white smoke when my kart idles.

cheers. im new to this all btw.
