Don't expect too much from the use of these cameras. They should be an additional source of information for the CoC/Stewards but that is all.
The camera will not show both feet and pedals so you will not be able to prove if the driver was still on full throttle or trying to brake.
You also will not have this information for the driver in front - was he brake testing?
I think they are a good idea but although the controls are quite simple you can still get it wrong and send the driver out with the camera not set to record or the battery can run out (we have probably all suffered from this with Alfano/Mychron) so I would hope any penalty for non function would not be too draconian.
