Hi James
If you like the idea of racing at different circuits against big grids of the same drivers then it might suit you well. The racing is fair and clean, everyone is friendly and happy to help out.
A second hand kart won't cost much more than a decent second hand TKM package and you can certainly run competetively on a budget due to the controlled single make nature of the class. The only thing that really costs more than a typical tkm club meeting is the race entry fees - but then you get significantly more track time as a result (Which makes the travelling more worthwhile!)
Have a look at the forum on the easykart website. You'll be able to get answers to any questions you may have. There are also some old threads where drivers have broken down typical costs of racing.
