These dates for SA/K2005 are just testing standard expiry dates and do not represent the end of life of the helmet.
This is more for helmet manufacturers who then have to meet the new standards.

Current FIA stance is that SA/K2005 helmets will be valid until at least the end of 2014.
MSA will be likely to follow one year after.
