theres alot of karters on here who been in this sport for many years. until the zip storm was introduced what was the figures for cadet flipping before it was introduced? surely there must be people on here that can remember such an event. if you look at the old zip fairing it has the vertical front surface that my kart has now. in fact if you youtube champions of the future and have a look at the pfi race ( the one with lewis hamilton) you will see that all the kart run this type of nosecone with the vertical surface. so my point is did it happen back then?
one point to take into consideration is that up until 1 1/2 years ago most people wre running the zip blade chassis and began to convert the body work to the storm type and it wasnt until the storm began to show results that people switch to the storm or converted the bodywork and so the number of these karts on the grid with the new scoop bumper became on mass.
there seems to have been a lot of accidents this year, people must remember if it has been a problem in the past or is the above the common denominator?
