As my son is just starting in karting I was reluctant to buy a Mychron yet. I found this application Trackmaster for the Android G1 phone that cost less than Ł5 and gives lap time, splits and GPS mapping on Google Earth. I have posted some screen shots of what you can do

The software still needs some work for karting but the developer has promised to make changes soon.

Has anyone else tried it?
