There were certainly a lot of photos being taken of the Zip kart in the scrutineering area and it was held there for some time for inspection.
This time it was the Zip driver who appeared to suffer the most with the kart looking a write-off - nose cone and nasser panel badly damaged and chassis twisted. The WTP kart that ran into him (Zip facing the wrong way) went right up the nasser panel and took chunks out of the side of the lad's helmet but luckily seems to have hit the side rather than full on.
The WTP lad walked away but with a badly damaged kart and a destroyed Mychron/Alfano (hit by his helmet). The Zip driver was airlifted to hospital but released with bumps and bruising. Not sure about the third driver involved who was also in the ambulance.
