Out of interest, are the mychron 3 (and 4) rpm leads just a length of wire with a clip on? Hence if I want to replace the current lead with a longer one, all I need to do is cut a longer piece of wire? I know I could check, but my garage has some furniture in it being stored, so its nots that simple at the moment.

Also saw a post about connecting the rpm lead on amychron 4 to the on/off switch on a gx160 - does this pick up the rpm too, as this is probably easier from the perspective of routing wires etc.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks, Paul
