Whilst the MSA usualy make knee jerk safety decisions for once i would suport kneck braces of some sore properly reserched and certified along with the carbon fibre / glasfibre type rib protectors for all junior and cadet drivers.

how many posts have been on here with drivers suffering cracked ribs BEFORE the go and buy a protector to prevent such an injury.

you would not dream of going out on track without protecting your head so why should your neck or ribs lungs be any less protected.
