Pre-final: Brendan Maisano truly awesome, winning from grid 12 due to his heat DNF on Saturday.

Probably confused as to where Maisano had come from, Felice Tiene, Matteo Vigano, and Aniello Smarrazzo left to swap places in the winner's wake, to leave the top four as predicted yesterday.

Jordan Chamberlain in cracking form, moving forwards from grid 10 for 6th place, giving him a real chance of a podium finish.
