Hi, after recent taster of Karting my 6yo son has now been nagging me for around 2 months for his own kart I'm sure you've all been there! Took him over to wombwell at last weekend and that compounded this! (well done sykc) Now after a little research I thought that the bambino class would be for him but after making a few calls none of my local(ish)Yorkshire/Lancashire (I'm in Halifax)tracks cater for this which seems a shame as these young lads are the future of your sport. So I suppose My question is do I buy him a bambino kart for which their are no races/time trial or do I buy a comer and let him drive say at half throttle for a while the when he gets to race when he's 8 he's kind of ready to go? I was going to take him to a local industrial estate car park which my friend owns and is locked up on evenings and weekends so he can cut his teeth.
Any info/help you could give me is greatly appreciated.
Kindest regards, Bucky.
