Morning heats now out of the way, with heat winner Vigano now being joined by Felice Tiene and Aniello Smarrazzo, with the latter looking very quick indeed at this early stage.

Besides Chamberlain as the leading Brit, Chris Lock has posted a top 10 finish in his heat, but that has been it so far. Shaun Carter has been quick but suffered an exclusion (Art.2.24 of General Prescriptions), with Josh Fielding 21st in the same heat as Chamberlain, but off the pace. Ben Cooper is on the pace but had a difficult first heat, and George Blundell still has to show if he is in the ball-park?
