Hi Simon
I am a bit confused as to steves comments about the junior driver being found compliant i was with the clark of the course on the day and he confirmed along with the scrutineers and Ron Shone that he was found to be un compliant as we were.I only hope the fact that the spring tollerance that has since been increased has had no bearing on the results at the time.
I can put my hands up and admit to making a mistake by not checking the spring etc but i have purchased many carbs and kits over the last 17 years and have never measured or new how to measure the springs lets face it we can adjust the pop off with the paddle if neccesary.and this is only to get it to pop off and hold at the designed limits.
