This does happen its called the jacking effect but it shouldnt be too excessive and if it is get your chassis checked for straightnes. The easy but not the best way to do this is to lift the kart up at the front on level ground then slowly place the front end down if one wheel touches the ground before the other then your chassis or stub is bent hope this helps.
