Looking at those lap times it seems that the first 3 laps made a big difference. Based on that it looks as if the pole man got a good start whilst number 2 man went defensive - lead at the end of lap 1 was almost 3 seconds.
From about lap 4 it settles down to about 1 second per lap. Makes you wonder though what could have happened if the 2,3 and 4 guys had formed a chain instead of fighting.
This is one of the things you see happen so often in S1/Stars - the more experienced drivers know that working together is the key and the only time you really need to be in front is as you cross the line for the flag.
