this wasnt a second per lap but on average two seconds per lap. as i said he was a fantastic driver and has skill.
the fact was we have a couple of v. good drivers with some tasty kit (strong engines national level or so i thought), who drive this track regular, apart from other national tracks and they are no novices and this lad was still 2 seconds quicker than them. i dont care how good your driver is, i dont think set up and driver can produce that. this wasnt to do with corner speed or good lines.
like i said i wasnt the only one to comment on the power of the kart, from a straight line overtake the acceleration was unreal.
but hey if im wrong id be the first to hold my hands up.

as for my earlier comments i never said the lad was a poor driver, im sure if my lad raced every weekend at a top level could be just as good as most out there with time im sure, i agree it could have been worded better, for that i apologised.
you were merely having a dig at me to prevoke a reaction, but we really dont want to go down that route.
