Being a driver in the class I would like to see the TAG engine working on a par with direct drive initally. Then I think the class needs a new carb that offers more performance than the current carbs which would then allow a weight increase for seniors to allow the heavier drivers to use a TAG and be on the weight. I have to remind you guys that TKM is a budget class, homologation in TKM allows the cost of the karts to be kept lower than the CIK alternatives. The class needs to keep the current tyres, same axle size, maybe allow the use of castor camber kits through a talko specific kit that can be fitted to older karts through drilling the yokes out which means old chassis' are still as fast as new versions with. If CIK chassis' are allowed then people will buy what is fast and spend what is required to be spent but it pushes up the costs significantly. Yes it favours people converting from Max or blue to tkm but it doesnt favour the current customers talko has and that wouldnt be good business practice.
My suggestion then would be a much better carb offering significant advantages in performance and a slight weight increase in seniors to allow for the TAG engine and then possibly the use of castor camber kits supplied by talko for all current and new karts. Everything else to remain the same, its a budget class and change generally means more expense for me! good for talko, not so good for me.
