Careful with the average club driver comment though, not sure which of us are actually average club drivers if you were referring to us. The reason most of them don't practice as much is mainly down to money. Always has been.
Somebody has to consider the theory, otherwise these technologies wouldn't even exist. It's just a shame when people advise this and that when they really do not know a convincing argument as to why. For example, imagine telling someone that they should run mags because they keep the tyres cooler, and then they try using them on a cold day. Its not a straightforward answer.
