Hi,
I am considering getting into karting and I need some general advice. My plan is to take a lesson at Buckmore, followed by a practice session in a hire kart and see how I get on. Then apply for a licence, and do some hire kart races.
My request is about where do I go from there. I know about the TKM senior class and Rotax. What class do the Honda GX engined karts race in? Which is the most popular class in the Kent area? I dont want to buy a kart and find the nearest races are in Yorkshire or something! Rotax seems popular, but I like to fiddle with spanners and stuff, and Im told you cant touch the engines?
I have checked out the marketplace on here, and other sites like Ebay, but there seems to be lots of different engines and class of karts. I just want to have fun driving quickly without it costing a shed laod of money! Advice please..... thanks in advance
