Just to add more confusion to the mix with this C of C, my son was 2nd on the grid of the Minimax B final. We had trouble starting on the dummy grid so he was forced to chase the pack round. He wasn't allowed to retake his place and they started the race before he had caught up. We were told they had a schedule to keep to so sending them round again was not an option. We missed out on the A final by one place. When the A final got underway there was a problem with a couple of the karts on the grid, you guessed it, they sent them round again!!! Try explaining that to your twelve year old when capable adults are running the show. Despite that, GYG is a great place to go karting with very friendly people. Just hope the culprit(s) who slashed our team's awning overnight are discovered along with the Clerk's notebook on consistent decisions!
