gbox are so underated. with 125 gbox u don't even touch the gbox. as for maintenance there isn't really much more than on a rotax. you have front brakes, so just keep an eye on them as you would rear brakes. dependant on state of tune, piston changes can vary from 2 hours to 6 hours. just look at it for condition. apart from that its just really spanner checking everything to make sure its all done up. the chains on gbox karts last forever. they are very reliable and so much more fun than dd karts. pedals are the same as on a dd but u also have a clutch lever for pulling away. simples:D

once you've driven a gbox you'll never want to drive a dd again!
