The battery charger connection on our loom has become detached. I have obtained a replacement 2.1mm socket from electronic component supplier.

Question, can anyone confirm whether the inner pin is +ve or -ve and vice versa for the outer connection.

Convention is centre pin +ve, outer -ve, but wanted to confirm before taking to soldering iron.
