Hi Michael,

Aidan's fine thanks, and thankfully, so is the other driver.

The two touched coming onto the straight at Wombwell, resulting in Leo Spencer (the other driver) running wide and driving over the kerb on the right-hand side. He then dropped a wheel into a deep rut after the kerb, which caused the kart to flip and crash into the tyres.

Leo was thrown out of the kart and ended-up in the middle of the track near the start/finish line: thankfully, the following karts missed him.

Aidan was very upset by the incident, but was assured by the gentlemen mentioned that what happened was the result of an unfortunate accident.

We expect the rut to be filled-in before the next meeting.
