Let me just put some points straight, whether you do Stars or S1 the running costs are the same and this is how long is a piece of string. They are both no more expensive than doing a club meeting unless you let it.
The difference between Stars and S1 is the entry fee.
S1 registration fee £125 then £95 entry per meeting plus £35 for Friday practice(optional). Total cost for the year £905 this equals £150.33 per meeting.
Stars £1250 up front plus £45 for Friday practice(plus Thursady at Genk) total cost £1564 this equals £260.83 per meeting
This makes the Stars nearly 60% more expensive than S1 for the entry these are fixed cost.
The Stars have done a good job with publicity in the past. When you go to each event Stars or S1 they are both the same.
I am now a director of the S1 and 2009 you will see many changes. We have already done 2 events and positive comments have been made from both events. One quote from the MSA round from Strawberry Racing "This is the best S1 meeting we have ever been to"
Watch this space S1 is back
