Hi all,

I have acquired a Mannin lap timer but it appears that the magnetic pickup sensor is no longer functioning.

I've replaced batteries, reset unit, checked all connections etc and everything else seems ok, but the sensor will not react.

Is there anyway to repair these?

Kestrel have advised me that a new sensor is Ł40 plus VAT, but I don't have the budget currently to buy one.

I have submitted an advert asking if anyone has an unwanted sensor which will hopefully appear tomorrow, before I get shouted at for 'advertising!'.

Any help gratefully received!!!
