I think there are two important issues there....safety (which of course is most important) and cost/kart damage and ruined weekends....
Its great to see current grids as large as they are at the moment, 48 Juniors yesterday, 54 juniors at Whilton, great for being a part of, great to watch, great for our sport, great for each club financially....but when you spend 2 full days working hard, driving to the best of the drivers ability, spending neccessary money on practice day fee, race entry, fuel getting to track and back, food, overnight camping charge, tyres, other incidentals (£300 - £500)....it hits hard when month after month nothing is put into place even though we are continually promised it will be....support for the clubs splits both ways !
