Been out of karting for ages.....bought myself a gillard chassis yesterday :P with the intention of fitting a leopard to it, as everyone was raving about them before i stopped. Ive done a bit of research on australian and american karting boards, as this is where theyve put these motors to the test over the last couple of years......not looking good.
Im only after something to blast around rye every week or so,but wanted fairly good reliability, and hassle free as possible, also wanted something with an onboard starter, as ill be going on my own.......Some are going to hate this, but the rotaxes seem to be the most reliable, but are a pain in the a$$ as far as carb tuning etc.....in theory, could i fit a better carb on one. or does anyone else have any ideas that would suit what im after...
