Actually it doesn't take much to beat that.

One motorhome. Cost Ł100K (not mine, but someone's)

Opportunity Cost pa Ł 5K
Depreciation pa Ł20K
Running Cost Ł0.60 per mile.
Average mileage 7000 pa
Mileage costs pa Ł 4.2k

total Ł29k
Number of meetings attended in season 20

Cost Ł1450 per meeting.

Then we get round to the kart!
