Hello, after a bit of advice please.

Want to come back to karting after a few years out of it.

Got my first kart when I was about 7 (comer cadet) and stayed in this class until 12. Then got a Junior TKM and later moved up to Rotax Max.

Unfortunately GCSEs, A-levels and Uni meant I had less and less time (and money) so I haven't done any for the last few years.

Now I am finished uni and have a bit more money I am looking to get back into the sport. I have just turned 20.

I still have the senior max but obviously it is a good few years old now so wont be very competitive. Chassis is a tony kart

So...what is the class to go into nowadays? Is it still rotax max? If so, what are the highly regarded kart manufactures and models these days? .

I wouldn't be looking to get a brand new 2009 model but maybe a second hand 2007 or 2008 outfit.

I am ideally looking for a class which is popular nationally and something reliable and electric start.

Any help would be much apprecitated to help me make the right move to get back into the sport.
