Brake problem - fade???

Hi All,
I keep losing the brake pedal on my Prokart (yes, I know it's on the left!).
It starts off great, a very solid pedal then all of a sudden after a number of laps it just goes to the floor. I had this problem before so I replaced the whole master cylinder (Kelgate), fitted new pads, bled it thinking all would be good however, this does not appear to be the case. There are no leaks anywhere nor any loss of fluid and the pedal comes back after a short while by pumping. I bled it again but no air came out.
As the pads are quite thin from new and the disk is solid, not vented, my thought now is that it's severe brake fade - would anyone agree?
Or any other thoughts please?
